President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine is preparing countermeasures in response to Russia’s preparations for a large-scale strike and is implementing priority measures in response to Russia’s operation targeting Ukrainian logistics.
The president reported this following a coordination meeting with government officials, military commanders and other services.
“Government officials, together with representatives of regional authorities, have prepared additional logistics solutions in response to Russia’s operation against Ukrainian logistics. Today, we received updated intelligence on Russian preparations for a large-scale strike. We are preparing countermeasures. Deadlines have been set for a significant number of tasks, and the priority measures are already being implemented,” Zelensky wrote.
He also said that the defence minister and the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force had reported on the distribution of air defence assets and the organisation of defensive lines to protect designated key facilities.

“We are securing the necessary ammunition for F-16s, interception systems and interceptor missiles. The most difficult issue is ballistic missile defence, and the availability of these supplies depends entirely on our partners. We are working with them on a daily basis,” he said.
Zelensky also said that Russian forces had attacked several Ukrainian hospitals over the past day, including in Kramatorsk and Kryvyi Rih. According to him, emergency services responded to the attacks.
He added that it was important that Ukraine’s State Emergency Service was responding promptly to every such incident across all regions.
