The Russians, in classified official reports, acknowledge their irreversible losses at 1,315,000, but in Ukraine these figures are considered underestimated.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram following a briefing by the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Oleg Ivashchenko.

“The Russians themselves report in classified official documents that their irreversible losses amount to 1,315,000 killed and severely wounded. We have reasons to believe that these figures are understated,” Zelensky emphasized.

He also noted that Ukrainian intelligence obtained important documents regarding Russia’s assessment of its battlefield losses. In particular, these documents recorded a change in the ratio of Russian killed to wounded, showing 62% killed and 38% wounded of total losses.

Additionally, the President said that the Main Intelligence Directorate obtained updated information regarding cooperation between Russia and North Korea.
