On the night of April 6 (starting from 18:00 on April 5), the Russian forces attacked with 141 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as other types of drones. The launches were carried out from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as Hvardiiske and Chauda in the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 80 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 114 Russian UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as other drones, in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits by 26 strike UAVs were recorded at 17 locations, and debris from downed drones fell in 13 locations.
