Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi discussed Ukraine’s military priorities and lessons from modern warfare during a meeting in Kyiv with a delegation of the NATO Military Committee led by its Chair, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

The full delegation began its visit by laying flowers at the Wall of Remembrance of those who died for Ukraine near St Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery.

Representatives of all NATO member states jointly paid tribute to Ukrainian servicemen and women who lost their lives defending Ukraine.

During the meeting, NATO representatives discussed Ukraine’s military priorities with Drapatyi, as well as lessons from modern warfare that are helping partners strengthen their preparedness for current and future threats.

The Chair of the NATO Military Committee stressed the high level of solidarity among international partners with Ukraine.

The General Staff, in turn, thanked the partners for their support and for honouring Ukrainian servicemen and women.
