Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Budanov stated after another round of negotiations between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia in Geneva that the Ukrainian team is preparing for talks that will continue in the near future.

He reported this on Telegram.

“Another round of negotiations in Geneva has concluded. The conversation was not easy, but it was important. Together with the team, we are preparing to continue — in the near future. We will stand firm!” he wrote.

According to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi, participants in the trilateral talks in Geneva reached a principled agreement to hold the next meeting.

“I can also say that there is a principled agreement on the next meeting, but for understandable reasons we will not disclose details or dates at this time,” Tykhyi said.

He added that more details would be provided after the Ukrainian delegation returns and presents a detailed report on the Geneva negotiations to the President of Ukraine.
