On the night of April 15 (from 18:00 on April 14), Russian forces attacked with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Russia’s Rostov region, as well as 324 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmass types, and other drones launched from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske and Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea. About 250 of them were Shahed drones.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 07:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 309 Russian drones of various types across the north, south, east, and central parts of the country.
Hits by ballistic missiles and 13 strike UAVs were recorded at 9 locations, while debris from downed targets fell at 10 locations.
