Ukrainian freediver Kateryna Sadurska has become a world champion for the second time at the 2026 Freediving World Championships.
According to Suspilne Sport, Sadurska won the gold medal at the CMAS World Championships in the Constant Weight No Fins discipline, reaching a depth of 77 metres.
The CMAS Freediving World Championships are taking place in Roatán, Honduras, and feature competitions across several depth disciplines.
Sadurska entered the Constant Weight No Fins event as the clear favourite. The Ukrainian currently holds the CMAS world record in the discipline at 88 metres.
At the 2026 World Championships, Sadurska announced a depth of 77 metres and successfully completed the dive. The result was enough to secure gold, with Sadurska finishing 12 metres ahead of her closest rival, Italy’s Alessia Zecchini.
France’s Jade Agboton finished third after reaching a depth of 64 metres.
The World Championships will continue through August 27.
