Ukraine’s dairy industry showed noticeable improvement in financial results in 2025.
This is reported by the market analysis service VKURSI Market BI, based on public registry data.
Net profit of the dairy industry almost doubled—from UAH 1.35 billion to UAH 2.64 billion compared to 2024.
At the same time, total revenue increased by 18%—from UAH 105.2 billion to UAH 124.4 billion.
Central and southwestern regions traditionally remain the main centers of the dairy industry. These regions generate the highest total profits:
- Vinnytsia region: UAH 15.6 billion
- Kyiv: UAH 14.6 billion
- Poltava region: UAH 13.5 billion
- Cherkasy region: UAH 10.4 billion
- Kyiv region: UAH 10.2 billion
It is noted that, as of today, Ukraine has 575 companies whose main activity is milk processing, butter, and cheese production (NACE 10.51), of which 41 have foreign beneficiary owners.
