Ukraine is preparing a response to the latest wave of Russian escalation and is working with international partners to secure additional air defence packages and ammunition for F-16 fighter jets.
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on Telegram.
"Report from SSU Chief Oleksandr Poklad and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa. First, we are preparing our responses to this wave of Russian escalation," Zelensky said.
The president emphasised that Ukraine is working through all available channels with partners capable of providing additional air defence systems and ammunition for F-16 fighter jets.
Zelensky thanked every country willing to provide assistance.
"Third, we continue to fulfil the requests of combat corps and brigade commanders that they raised during our meetings at the front," the president added.
