Ukraine will participate in the 4th Indonesian Ballet Gala Concert on July 6 in Jakarta, represented by the outstanding dancer Andriy Havryliuk.
This was announced on Facebook by the Embassy of Ukraine in Indonesia.
Andriy Havryliuk is the principal dancer of the National Theatre in Belgrade and a guest principal dancer of the Kyiv City Ballet. He will perform twice at the Indonesian Ballet Gala Evening at Graha Bhakti Budaya: at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. His performances will bring the strength, grace, and spirit of Ukrainian ballet to the Indonesian stage.
“This remarkable participation is made possible in collaboration with the Ukrainian Institute, reaffirming the power of cultural diplomacy and Ukraine’s vibrant presence on the international cultural scene,” the embassy added.
As a reminder, the Embassy of Ukraine in Indonesia organized the Ukrainian Culture Day in Jakarta.
The event featured an exhibition titled “50 Inventions Ukraine Gave to the World” and screened the documentary film “Culture vs War. Antytila,” starring musicians who share their stories from the first eight months of the large-scale war.
