The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine tested a new generation of Ukrainian bomber drones at the Brave1 training ground, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reported on Telegram.

According to him, the bombers are a Ukrainian innovation that has become an indispensable weapon on the battlefield. They can destroy infantry, vehicles, fortifications, and also assist with logistics at the front.

“The new generation of bombers offers greater range, higher payload capacity, secure communication, and the ability to operate from safe positions,” the minister noted.

18 teams participated in the tests, developing solutions tailored to specific frontline tasks.

Small bombers are fast and maneuverable, capable of carrying several kilograms and effectively targeting infantry and light vehicles. Heavy bombers carry loads of tens of kilograms, designed to strike heavy vehicles, fortifications, and conduct logistical missions.

Each drone underwent rigorous testing: 20 km under electronic warfare conditions, hitting the target, and returning safely. The focus was on maintaining stable, secure communication to enable operations at long distances. Following the tests, several designs are already ready for use in challenging conditions. The next step is field trials in combat conditions, scaling effective solutions, and delivering them to the front lines.
