Current repairs of public roads have begun in Ukraine, Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko announced.
“Priority restoration of road surfaces is being carried out over a total area of more than 3.5 million square meters. These are not major overhauls, but rather urgent surface repairs on priority sections where weather conditions already allow the work to proceed. First and foremost, this concerns international and national routes that ensure military logistics, evacuation, delivery of humanitarian cargo, the functioning of communities, and the operation of critical infrastructure, including in frontline communities,” Svyrydenko wrote on her Telegram channel.
At present, the Prime Minister noted, more than 140 crews — nearly 1,000 workers — have been engaged in the work.
“The government will continue to increase the scope of road repairs and funding,” Svyrydenko added.
