Malta has made its first contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. This was announced by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
"Malta has joined the Ukraine Energy Support Fund with a contribution of €50,000. To date, the Fund has received approximately €2.408 billion in grant funding from 41 foreign donors representing 27 partner countries and three international organisations," the ministry stated.
The ministry noted that equipment and materials purchased through the Fund with the support of international partners help Ukrainian energy workers rapidly restore damaged facilities, strengthen the resilience of the energy system and prepare it for the winter.
