President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone call with President of Peru Keiko Fujimori.
This was the first phone call between the two leaders since the inauguration of the President of Peru. The Head of State congratulated Keiko Fujimori on her election victory.
“Thank you for confirming that the policy of condemning Russia’s invasion will remain unchanged. And that is only right – when the destruction of human life is condemned equally in every part of the world,” the President of Ukraine noted.
Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the drone technologies and equipment that our country has developed and uses on a daily basis, including in responding to the aftermath of Russian strikes and in relief efforts.
“All of this can be just as effective in emergency situations or for border protection,” the Head of State noted.
The leaders also discussed trade between the two countries.
“There is room for growth, and I expect that we will strengthen this area,” Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized.
The Presidents agreed to continue the dialogue at the level of their teams and personally.
