Ukraine neutralizes 252 Russian UAVs in massive overnight attack

On the night of March 28 (starting from 18:00 on March 27), the Russian forces attacked with 273 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmass, and other types of drones, launched from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 180 of them were Shahed drones.

The main direction of the strike was the Odessa region.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data as of 07:30, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 252 UAVs.

Hits by 21 strike UAVs were recorded at 18 locations, as well as debris from downed drones at 9 locations.

After 07:00, the Russian forces carried out repeated drone strikes on the Odessa region and other regions in the north and east. The results of the combat operations are being clarified.
