During the night of April 22 (starting from 18:00 on April 21), the Russian forces attacked with 215 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as other types of drones, launched from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo (Russia), and Chauda (occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea). About 140 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 189 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits by 24 strike UAVs were recorded at 13 locations, as well as debris falling at 6 locations.
