The volume of exports of grain and leguminous crops from Ukraine in the 2025/26 marketing year as of October 3 amounted to 6.7 million tons, which is 4.4 million tons, or 40%, less than in the previous season.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service.
Thus, wheat exports totaled 4.75 million tons, lagging 26% behind last year’s volume.
Barley shipments to foreign markets reached 861,000 tons, 39% less than on the same date last season.
Rye exports stood at 0.2 thousand tons, significantly lower than last year’s 7.5 thousand tons. This was the first shipment of the current season.
Corn exports amounted to 938,000 tons, three times less than last season.
Exports of flour from Ukraine totaled 15,500 tons, down 23% year-on-year.
