Cooperation with the Ukrainian state opens up a range of opportunities for other countries in the field of defense.

This was reported on Telegram by Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal following a meeting in Kyiv with European Commission Vice-President for Technological Sovereignty, Security, and Democracy, Ghenna Virkkunen.

“Cooperation with Ukraine opens up numerous opportunities in defense. I emphasized our readiness to implement large-scale joint projects that will strengthen the security of the entire European community. One such project is the ‘Drone Wall,’” he said.

According to Shmyhal, Ukraine is already ready to share its experience in countering Russian terror to enhance Europe’s defense capabilities.

“We also rely on the European SAFE mechanism, which will allow significant financial resources to be directed toward strengthening the production capacities of defense enterprises,” Shmyhal added.

The minister and his team briefed their European colleagues on the Ministry of Defense’s digital solutions in communications, battlefield innovation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.

The Ukrainian side presented digital products that help Ukrainian forces defend and strike enemy targets, and familiarized the foreign delegation with the advantages of the “Army+” and “Reserve+” applications.

“We are grateful to the European Union countries for their substantial contribution to the development of Ukrainian digital capabilities. We agreed to deepen cooperation. Together, we are building a safe and strong Europe,” concluded the head of the Ministry of Defense.
