The "Ukrainian Book Shelf" has been opened at the Autonomous University of the Paraguayan city of Encarnación.
This was announced by Zoya Klymenko, the wife of the Ukrainian ambassador to Argentina. She expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who supported the project: the university rector Nadia Cheranyuk, honorary consul Andres Trotsyuk and his wife Dani, as well as all those involved.
“The book shelf is open to everyone interested; we sincerely hope it will be useful not only to the Ukrainian community but also to all those curious about Ukraine, its literature, history, and culture,” she wrote.
The “Ukrainian Book Shelf” project is carried out under the patronage of Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska and is implemented jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Book Institute.
