The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published information about 243 Russian enterprises that are part of three of the most dangerous holdings of the Russian state corporation Rostec.

This was reported by the Intelligence Agency.

The enterprises of Rostec, which account for more than half of Russia's entire armament and military equipment production, play a key role in supplying the Russian army with weapons to wage war against Ukraine, as stated in the report.

On the War&Sanctions portal, the following details are provided:

  • The High-Precision Complexes holding, which includes enterprises that develop and produce the Iskander-M OTRK, Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, Pantsir-S air defense systems, as well as armored vehicles and guided artillery shells like Krasnopol.
  • The united aircraft-building corporation, encompassing all major Russian aircraft manufacturing enterprises that produce, modernize, and service multirole Su and MiG fighters, Tu strategic bombers, Il military transport aircraft, and others.
  • The united engine-building corporation, which unites 78 enterprises engaged in the development and production of engines for missile weapons, aviation, and naval vessels.

The new section contains identification data of the enterprises, their functions within the Rostec structure, information on the sanctions imposed on them, the equipment they use, as well as their connections and subordination schemes.

As highlighted by the Intelligence Agency, responsible businesses can use the published information to check their counterparties for ties to Rostec and make decisions about terminating cooperation with them. This, along with the synchronization of sanctions by partner countries, will complicate supply chains and reduce the pace of production of Russian military equipment. It will also make it impossible for non-sanctioned Rostec structures to bypass international restrictions.

This will result in a reduction of Russia's and its allies' capabilities to create new types of weapons and participate in international cooperations. Additionally, a decrease in Rostec's profits will affect its ability to produce and modernize weapons.

The Main Intelligence Directorate also added that they are continuing their work to isolate the Russian defense industry from global markets and limit its supply chains.
