The company Alta Ares, which has offices in Paris, New York, Athens and Kyiv, has joined the “Technological Forces of Ukraine” community. It will produce interceptor drones in cooperation with Ukrainian developers, the outlet Military reports with reference to Indigo Publications.
“For several months Alta Ares has been leading a NATO-supported project aimed at reforming the defense of Europe’s eastern flank. This multilayer AI-based defense system, created on the basis of real combat experience at the front in Ukraine, was developed in France and Europe. It addresses one of today’s most urgent security problems: protecting our airspace from unauthorized incursions,” the company said.
In summer 2025 Alta Ares opened a representative office in Ukraine to deepen cooperation with Ukrainian UAV developers.
One of the company’s main products is the Pixel-Lock AI guidance software. It detects, tracks and intercepts aerial targets, including drones, aircraft and glide bombs. The system is already being tested by Ukrainian units to counter FPV drones and guided aerial bombs.
Serial production of Alta Ares interceptor drones takes place in France, but the company plans to localize production of some components in Ukraine.
