The Board of Directors of the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Foundation (UCHF) held its first meeting, during which it appointed its leadership and outlined future areas of work, the Ministry of Culture reported.

“Following the meeting, Pierre Heilbronn, General Inspector of Finance of the French Republic, was elected Chair of the Board of Directors, and Olena Kovalska, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, was elected Deputy Chair. Board members also approved the UCHF strategy for 2026–2027, its code of ethics, and other founding documents,” the statement said.

UCHF is an international support platform registered in Brussels. The foundation operates under an international governance model and includes a general assembly, a Board of Directors, and advisory committees for project evaluation, auditing, ethics, and management. The Ministry emphasized that this structure ensures a high level of transparency, independent oversight, and trust from international partners.

The goal of UCHF is to attract, mobilize, manage, and invest resources for programs and projects aimed at preserving, protecting, and restoring Ukraine’s cultural heritage, as well as promoting and developing Ukrainian culture worldwide.
