At the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel, a “Prayer for Ukraine” was held for the fourth time in the heart of Jerusalem, near the Western Wall. The event brought together diplomats, members of the Ukrainian community, Ukrainian Jews, and friends of Ukraine in a powerful display of unity and solidarity.

More than 150 participants gathered to unfurl a thirty-meter Ukrainian flag, symbolizing resilience and shared strength. In a historic first, the Ukrainian prayer was conducted simultaneously in both the men’s and women’s sections of the holy site, underscoring the inclusiveness and significance of the moment.

The initiative was warmly received by Israelis and visitors present at the site, many of whom expressed their support and joined in prayers for peace and victory in Ukraine.

The Embassy extended sincere gratitude to all who attended, with special thanks to the Jerusalem branch of the All-Israeli Association of Ukrainian Immigrants and Israeli Friends of Ukraine for their essential support and co-organization of the event.

The gathering once again highlighted the deep ties between Ukraine and its supporters in Israel, reaffirming a shared commitment to peace, solidarity, and hope.
