The Polish clothing and household goods chain Pepco is considering entering the Ukrainian market. The first stores of the discount retailer could open in 2026, reports the Ukrainian Retailers Association.
Despite the full-scale invasion, international companies see the Ukrainian market as promising for growth. This year, Ukraine’s retail map may gain another strong player — the fast-growing European discount retailer Pepco, which operates over 4,000 stores in 18 countries.
The consulting company Retail&Development Advisor (RDA), the official exclusive representative of Pepco in Ukraine, is searching for the best locations for the international retailer. Negotiations are already underway between Pepco’s technical team and contractors regarding outfitting certain sites.
Plans call for opening 5–10 locations by the end of 2026.
