Units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces have neutralised more than 350,000 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) since the beginning of the year.
All strikes have been recorded on video in the DELTA combat system and verified by the Brave1 defence innovation cluster.
Among the destroyed drones are more than 320,000 Russian fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs neutralised by unmanned systems units of the Defence Forces. These include around 220,000 fixed-wing drones and 100,000 multirotor drones.
In addition, unmanned systems units, mobile fire groups and army aviation have shot down 31,000 Shahed-type drones.
Each destroyed Russian UAV potentially saves the lives of Ukrainian service members and civilians.
The destruction of Russian UAVs is verified through the DELTA system, which serves as the “digital core” for managing the modern battlefield and is one of the technological solutions crucial to Ukraine’s advantage over Russian forces.
The system makes it possible to track the specific circumstances of each interception and more rapidly scale up solutions that prove effective.
Destroying Russian fixed-wing UAVs prevents Russian forces from conducting reconnaissance in Ukraine’s rear, carrying out attacks or providing targeting adjustments for long-range strikes against civilian facilities, including critical infrastructure.
Meanwhile, intercepting multirotor drones prevents Russian forces from locating and striking Ukrainian positions and military equipment on the front line.
