The full provision of Ukraine's Defense Forces, preparations for winter, and support for citizens and businesses will be the main priorities of the new government.
This was emphasized by Serhii Koretskyi, who was appointed Prime Minister today.
"I am assuming the duties of Prime Minister with clearly defined priorities. Our main task is to ensure the full provision of Ukraine's Defense Forces and to scale up Ukraine's defense-industrial complex," Koretskyi said.
At the same time, preparations for winter and the upcoming heating season will continue. The newly appointed head of government also pledged continued support for citizens and businesses.
"Our duty is to fulfill all of the state's social obligations by ensuring the timely payment of pensions, social benefits, and funding for key public services," he said.
Special attention will be given to frontline communities that are subjected to daily Russian shelling.
Another key priority will be strengthening cooperation with international partners, securing additional resources, and ensuring the most effective use of international assistance.
Ukraine's strategic course toward full membership in the European Union remains unchanged.
