The expansion of long-range strike capabilities at distances of 20–150 km is leading to a doubling of their number each month, Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov reported.
“A separate focus is the middle strike segment. Following the president’s directive, we are scaling up this area. Strikes at distances of 20–150 km targeting enemy depots, headquarters, air defense systems, and logistics deliver rapid results for our frontline units. We are already seeing results: in April, the number of strikes beyond 20 km was twice as high as in March and four times higher than in February,” Fedorov wrote on Telegram on Tuesday.
He also reported progress in the robotization of the military, in particular through the use of ground robotic systems (GRS), aimed at preserving the lives of Ukrainian soldiers and increasing combat effectiveness.
“In April, 10,281 logistical and evacuation missions were carried out using GRS — that’s 367 missions per day,” the minister said.
According to him, throughout April, the destruction or severe wounding of 35,203 thousand Russian troops was confirmed on video.
“This means that for the fifth consecutive month, Russia has been losing more personnel than it is capable of mobilizing, and is gradually being overwhelmed by its losses… Our goal is to reach a level of enemy losses at which its further advance becomes impossible,” Fedorov emphasized.
