Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna is convinced that the so-called elections to Russia’s State Duma will in fact be a performance controlled by the Kremlin.
He wrote this on X.
“An important reminder ahead of Russia’s so-called State Duma elections. The Kremlin decides who can run, controls the process, and the result is decided before the ballots are counted,” Tsahkna said.
According to him, these will not be elections, but a Kremlin-controlled performance.
Elections to the Russian State Duma will take place on September 18–20.
