A residential building in one of Odessa’s districts was struck during a morning attack by Russian forces, local authorities reported.
The head of the Odessa Military-Civil Administration, Serhiy Lysak, and the head of the Odessa City Administration, Oleh Kiper, confirmed the incident.
“As a result of the morning attack in one of the city’s districts, a residential building was struck,” Lysak said. He added that, so far, there are no reports of casualties.
The air raid alert in Odessa remains in effect as Russian forces continue attacks using strike drones. The impact also destroyed a private house and caused a fire. Emergency services are working at the scene.
Authorities urged residents to remain in safe locations until the alert is lifted.
