The streaming service HBO Max will officially launch in Ukraine, giving local viewers access to thousands of hours of content — including HBO originals, films and series from the Harry Potter and DC universes, and Discovery programming.
The official HBO Max website already features a Ukrainian interface with subscription prices. In addition to movies and series, the platform will offer extra sports content with live broadcasts of Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, covering events such as cycling and tennis.
At launch, HBO Max will offer two main plans:
- Standard (€7.99/month) — streaming on two devices simultaneously in Full HD and up to 30 downloads.
- Premium (€9.99/month) — streaming on four devices simultaneously (two for sports content) in 4K UHD with Dolby Atmos support and up to 100 downloads.
A sports add-on can be added to either plan for €3/month.
Users will be able to sign up directly on the HBO Max website or via app stores for mobile and other compatible devices, including phones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, streaming boxes, and game consoles.
The exact launch date will be announced soon. For now, HBO titles continue to premiere on the Ukrainian streaming service MEGOGO.
