Ukrainian drone developer GreenTech Harvest has reached an agreement with Canadian defence company General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada to jointly manufacture UAVs in Canada, the Canadian company said in a press release.
The companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishing a framework for cooperation focused on Ukrainian-designed unmanned systems.
“Ukrainian industry has moved quickly to adapt to operational realities on the ground. By working together, we can combine that experience with our Canadian industrial and manufacturing expertise to help deliver capability where it is needed while strengthening defence co-operation between our countries,” said Joel Houde, Vice President and General Manager of General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada.
According to GreenTech Harvest Programme Director Oleh Donets, the companies aim to combine combat-proven Ukrainian drones with the Canadian company’s industrial capabilities to manufacture systems and solutions that will strengthen the defence capabilities of both countries.
GreenTech Harvest is a Ukrainian manufacturer of unmanned systems. The company is one of nine Ukrainian founding members of the EU-Ukraine Drone Alliance, launched by the European Commission in July 2026.
In April, GreenTech Harvest reached an agreement with the Netherlands-based VDL Group to jointly manufacture drones at its plant in Born. The agreement covers the K4 Deepstrike strike drone and the Baton Midstrike reconnaissance aircraft.
