Around 20 countries are interested in working with Ukraine under the Drone Deals joint drone production programme. Four agreements have already been signed, and the first contracts under these agreements are being prepared. A new security cooperation initiative with another part of the world will also be launched soon, according to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, following a report by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov.

“Separately and in detail, Rustem reported on contacts with countries interested in Drone Deals with Ukraine. About 20 countries are already involved at different stages: four agreements have already been signed, and the first contracts are being prepared under these agreements. With other countries, preparatory procedures are ongoing for political agreements that will open the way for business. Ukraine is already guaranteed initial energy results thanks to these agreements — the necessary fuel supply on the Ukrainian market is being ensured. There will also be significant financial results,” Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel on Monday.

The head of state also said that Ukraine is opening new cooperation within Drone Deals with another region of the world.

“In addition to the Middle East and the Gulf, the South Caucasus, and Europe, we will soon open such new security cooperation within drone deals with another part of the world. We are preparing news — positive for Ukraine,” he said.

It was also reported that last week Zelenskyy proposed a Drone Deal to the King of Bahrain and instructed the Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov and Rustem Umerov to work out the military modalities of a drone deal with the EU.
