First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska took part in the second day of the Fostering the Future Together summit, hosted by U.S. First Lady Melania Trump. The events of the summit were held at the White House.
“Our country fully shares the desire to give children every modern opportunity and the best education. Even while defending ourselves, we are creating technological and digital solutions for this, often unprecedented and unique. Building and protecting the future is only possible through development. And here, without a doubt, we have much to share with the world,” she emphasized.
At the White House, Olena Zelenska also met with the First Gentleman of Slovenia, Aleš Musar, and thanked him for his support of Ukraine.
“My colleague is an active participant in the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen. We discussed the next summit, the sixth overall Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, which will, as always, be held in Kyiv. Once again, we will select a theme relevant to the whole world and propose effective solutions, which we will later present on the sidelines of the United Nations. Last year, it was in this way that we, together with our colleagues, raised at the UN a topic of education that is shaping the world,” the First Lady emphasized.
