Estonian President Alar Karis has appointed Tiina Intelmann as the new ambassador to Ukraine.

According to the report, Intelmann has worked in Estonia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1991. She has served as Estonia’s ambassador to Israel and the United Kingdom, and has also held the position of European Union ambassador to Somalia. She is currently working at Estonia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a special representative for multilateralism and peace mediation.
Since September 2023, Estonia’s ambassador in Kyiv has been Annely Kolk.
