Ukraine’s egg exports reached 216.2 million units in March 2026, a record high for the past five years, the Ukrainian Poultry Union reported, citing customs statistics.

The industry association noted that compared to February, shipment volumes increased by 23%, and were 25% higher than in March 2025. At the same time, foreign currency revenue grew much faster, rising by 57% compared to March 2025, reaching $24 million.

Overall, during the first quarter of 2026, 579.5 million eggs were exported to foreign markets for a total value of $66 million. Physical export volumes increased by 17%, while revenue jumped by 74% compared to the same period last year.

The main consumers of Ukrainian products in January–March remained European Union countries, accounting for 74% of exports. The largest shares went to Spain (26.1%), the United Kingdom (13.1%), Poland (11.7%), and Israel (8.3%).

According to the industry association, the gap between the growth rates of physical volumes and revenue is explained by favorable price conditions on the European market at the beginning of the year.
