The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), together with other components of the country’s Defence Forces, has carried out a series of coordinated drone strikes on oil refineries, fuel infrastructure, and military facilities in Russia and occupied Crimea, Ukrainian officials said.
The operation, according to Ukrainian authorities, is part of efforts to reduce Russia’s military-economic capacity in line with strategic objectives set by the country’s leadership.
Ukrainian drones reportedly struck the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery, as well as a nearby linear production-dispatch station in the Yaroslavl region. Ukrainian sources said explosions and smoke were observed in the area following the attack.
Another target was the Vysotsk Seaport Oil Terminal, where Ukrainian officials claimed two oil-loading arms were disabled and three fuel storage tanks were hit.
The Pervyy Zavod Oil Refinery was also struck, with reports of explosions followed by a fire at the facility.

Separate operations were carried out in Russian-occupied Crimea. Ukrainian sources said three aircraft hangars containing aviation equipment were hit at the Hvardiiske Air Base.
Additional targets reportedly included a Pantsir-S2 air defense system, a mobile fire group in Kerch, and fuel infrastructure at a local depot, including a storage tank and pumping station.
The SSU said the strikes are part of a systematic effort to degrade Russia’s military infrastructure and reduce its ability to sustain ongoing military operations.
A representative of the agency emphasized that the operations are intended to target resources supporting Russia’s war effort and said such actions will continue.
Independent verification of the reported damage has not yet been provided.
