In Odessa, as a result of an attack by Russian drones overnight on Monday, February 9, one person was killed and two others were injured.
This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper. According to him,
“On the night of February 9, the Russian army carried out a massive drone strike on Odesa and the region. Residential areas in Odessa were hit. Unfortunately, one person was killed and two others were injured.”

One of the drones struck the roof of a multi-storey residential building, causing a fire. A gas pipeline was damaged.
Passenger cars were also set ablaze, and facades and windows in several buildings were damaged.
Rescue workers promptly extinguished the fires. Emergency and municipal services continue to work at the scenes, eliminating the consequences of the attack and providing assistance to residents. Law enforcement agencies are documenting yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation, Kiper noted.
