Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal and Croatian Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Defense Ivan Anušić signed a Letter of Intent in Kyiv to deepen defense-industrial cooperation.
The sides agreed to establish joint production chains and foster cooperation between the defense sectors of Ukraine and Croatia. They also agreed to organize a joint industrial forum for manufacturers at the beginning of next year.
“I thank Croatia for its support and the 13 military aid packages totaling over €200 million,” said Denys Shmyhal.

The Croatian Defense Minister announced a 14th aid package and a 15th by the end of this year.
During the meeting, the ministers also discussed joint participation in the SAFE mechanism and Croatia’s potential involvement in the PURL initiative.
Denys Shmyhal highlighted Croatia’s role in the Demining Coalition. The Croatian company DOK-ING has already delivered 69 demining machines and begun producing spare parts in Ukraine.
“The experience of a friendly country is important for clearing our land,” emphasized the Ukrainian Defense Minister.

Continuing the topic, the Ukrainian and Croatian delegations discussed the potential for joint production of FPV drones.
