The State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection has approved the form of the international certificate for the export of table eggs to Canada.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Poultry Farmers Association.
The certificate form can be found on the official website of the State Service in the "International Cooperation" section under the "Certificates for Export from Ukraine."
"Please note that the export of eggs to Canada is only possible if there is cooperation with licensed importers in Canada, who must have a valid Safe Food for Canadians License (SFC)," the agency added.
Additionally, the website provides further information on the compliance with Canada's legislation for egg and egg product producers, particularly regarding:
- Storage and transportation of eggs and egg products;
- Labeling of eggs and egg products;
- Salmonella control program — egg products;
- Salmonella control program — table eggs;
- Requirements for egg sorting;
- Identification standards.
