Belarus continues to support Russian drone attacks on Ukraine using its relay stations.
Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, said this during a briefing at Ukrinform.
“No significant changes have been recorded along the border with Belarus. As before, we have not observed the build-up or formation of strike groups, nor any overall increase in the number or presence of either Belarusian troops or Russian Federation units on Belarusian territory,” the spokesperson said.
At the same time, according to Demchenko, Belarus continues to support Russian attacks on Ukraine involving strike UAVs by using relay stations and other technical equipment that strengthens signals for Russian drones.
“As we can see, recently, particularly since the beginning of September, the enemy has been making quite extensive use of its unmanned aerial vehicles to strike the western regions of our country. This particularly concerns the Volyn region, where attacks have also been directed towards border crossing points, with drones effectively reaching the immediate vicinity of the Polish border,” Demchenko said.
