Austrian National Library launches Ukrainian audio guide
Article top vertical

One of Europe’s most prestigious cultural institutions—the Austrian National Library—has introduced the Ukrainian language into its audio tour system.

The Ukrainian Embassy in the Republic of Austria announced this on Facebook.

The introduction of a Ukrainian audio guide in the country’s main library is an important step in representing the Ukrainian language within the European cultural space and a significant sign of support for Ukrainian citizens abroad. From now on, visitors can explore the library’s unique Baroque halls and historical collections in their native language.

To access the Ukrainian-language content, visitors need to purchase a special card at the library’s ticket office. After that, they simply scan the QR code on the card and select Ukrainian in the app or device menu.
