On the night of March 6 (starting at 18:00 on March 5), the Russian forces attacked with 141 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other drones from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Hvardiiske and Chauda in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 100 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 08:30, air defense shot down or suppressed 111 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits by 24 strike UAVs were recorded at 16 locations, and debris from downed drones fell at one location.
