On the night of March 3 (starting from 18:00 on March 2), Russian forces attacked with 136 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmás types, as well as other types of drones, launched from the directions of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea). About 80 of them were Shahed drones.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 09:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 127 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmás types, as well as other drones, in the north, south, and east of the country.
Five strike UAV hits were recorded at three locations, as well as the crash sites of downed drones (debris) at three locations.
