On the night of March 23 (from 18:00 on March 22), the Russian forces launched an attack using 251 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types from the directions of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea). About 150 of them were Shahed drones.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, 234 UAVs were shot down or suppressed by air defense.
Hits by 17 strike UAVs were recorded at 11 locations, as well as debris of downed drones at 8 locations.
