Air defense forces neutralized 133 out of 156 Russian drones since the evening

Air defense forces neutralized 133 drones launched by Russian troops against Ukraine since the previous evening. Strikes were recorded at 13 locations.

According to the military, starting from 18:00 on Thursday, March 19, the Russian forces launched 156 drones of various types at Ukraine, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmass.

The launches were carried out from the directions of the Russian cities of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the temporarily occupied areas of Hvardiiske and Chauda (Autonomous Republic of Crimea).

The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

About 90 of the targets were Shahed-type drones.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00 on Friday, air defense shot down or suppressed 133 drones. Hits by 19 strike UAVs were recorded at 13 locations, while debris from downed drones fell at seven other locations.

The Air Force emphasized that several drones are still being tracked in Ukraine’s airspace and urged citizens to follow safety guidelines.
