Agroprodservice has begun construction of a feed mill and grain storage complex in the Western Ukrainian Industrial Hub industrial park, located in the village of Ostriv, Ternopil Region.

The announcement was made by Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, Dmitry Kysylevsky.

According to him, the facility, which will have an annual production capacity of 400,000 tonnes of feed, is scheduled to become operational in 2027. Earthworks are currently underway at the construction site.

The total investment in the project amounts to UAH 1.5 billion.

To import equipment for the new plant, Agroprodservice plans to take advantage of the zero-rate customs duty and VAT incentives available under Ukrainian legislation for industrial park participants.

In addition, the Western Ukrainian Industrial Hub is preparing an application for state co-financing of industrial park infrastructure development. Funding is expected to be used to provide an additional 10 MW of electrical capacity for the new facility.

"The new feed mill and grain storage complex will occupy an area of 5 hectares. It is part of a newly added section of the industrial park, which was expanded after all available space had been filled. In December 2025, the Western Ukrainian Industrial Hub increased its area from 10.6 hectares to 55 hectares. The original site is now fully developed with industrial facilities covering 71,000 square metres," the lawmaker added.
