The Ukrainian-Estonian developer of geospatial intelligence tools, Farsight Vision, has closed a seed investment round totaling €7.2 million.

Acting Minister of Digital Transformation Oleksandr Bornyakov reported on Facebook:

"The Ukrainian-Estonian company Farsight Vision, part of the Brave1 cluster, has raised €7.2 million in funding from Axon and SmartCap. Farsight Vision creates geospatial intelligence tools. Its AI platform provides UAV operators and situational centers with real-time data, effectively replacing satellite imagery," the statement reads.

The funds will be used to develop new areas, including robotic systems for logistics, navigation, and weapon control. The primary goal is to protect critical infrastructure and enhance battlefield capabilities through AI.

Farsight Vision develops both software and hardware solutions for intelligence and autonomous systems. Its products allow real-time conversion of drone photos and videos into detailed 3D models and orthophotos with integrated object detection and anomaly tracking, even in GNSS-denied environments. The company’s solutions are integrated with battle management systems, mobile applications, simulators, and VR tools. The startup collaborates with more than 100 units of Ukraine’s Defense and Security Forces.
