Six countries have already signed agreements under the Drone Deal framework, while more than 20 others are working to join the initiative, according to Rustem Umerov.

Umerov noted that each agreement is concluded for a period of 10 years and covers the export of defense production and technologies, as well as the development of defense cooperation.

"Drone Deal combines four key areas: expert security assistance, including consultations and analytical support from Ukrainian military specialists in partner countries; the export of combat-proven solutions; localization of production in partner countries through initiatives such as Build with Ukraine and Build in Ukraine; and special projects, including cybersecurity cooperation, protection of critical infrastructure, and satellite initiatives," Umerov wrote.

He added that the government has adopted a Fast Track procedure for Drone Deal to simplify and accelerate implementation. Under the new rules, the review period for export applications has been reduced from 90 to 30 days for products that are not classified as critical.

"Defense technologies should not only strengthen Ukraine's Defense Forces but also become the foundation of a new security architecture together with our international partners," Umerov said.
