A World Health Organization warehouse in the Kyiv region was damaged as a result of a Russian attack overnight on September 3.

The WHO Country Office in Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

“Last night, an air attack damaged one of WHO’s main warehouses in the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region, where humanitarian medical supplies are stored. Access to the warehouse is currently restricted due to heavy smoke and safety concerns. We continue to assess the extent of the damage and possible losses of medical supplies,” the statement said.

The WHO also reported that none of its staff were injured.

The Country Office noted that, given the security situation, only limited quantities of humanitarian medical supplies had been stored at the warehouse as a precaution.
