Ukraine has still not received a response from Russia regarding the energy truce; on the contrary, there have been missile attacks, indicating that Russia is not ready for it, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
“Regarding the energy truce, we have not received any response from the Russians. On the contrary — or rather, we should say, we received a response in the form of drones and missile attacks. This indicates that they are not ready for the energy truce proposed by the U.S. side in Abu Dhabi — at least for now,” Zelensky told journalists on Wednesday.
According to the president, the U.S. side proposed a meeting next week in Miami. Ukraine immediately confirmed its readiness, but Russia is hesitating.
“We are ready. It doesn’t matter to us whether the meeting takes place in Miami or Abu Dhabi — the main thing is that it produces results,” he emphasized.
